How Dubsado can help create a seamless client experience in your business

There are so many tech tools out there that can help elevate your customer's experience of working with you.

These tools are also great for making your life that little bit easier, which is always a plus for a busy business owner!

But with so many to consider, you might be left wondering which one is best.

In my opinion, Dubsado is one of the best tools to use to help make your customer experience 10 times more seamless while making your life easier too!

So I want to share how I use it in my business to enhance my customer experience to give you a sense of the different ways you could integrate it into your business.

Before they sign on

Before a client signs on with you is a crucial time to be putting your best foot forward because it gives the client a bit of insight as to what it would be like to work with you.

There are many different ways and tools you can create a seamless onboarding experience to leave a great first impression, but Dubsado is a great option.

First of all, I use it to collect some core information from any inquiring client.

Whenever someone books a discovery call with me (which they can also do through Dubsado), I ask them to answer a few questions first so that I can pre-qualify the client.

This also enables me to prepare for the call by giving me an idea of where the client is at with their business and what support they’re looking for.

After my discovery calls, I also use Dubsado to send potential clients a proposal detailing the scope of work I could help them with.

Dubsado makes this really easy to do and you can add your branding to any forms, booking links or proposals to keep everything on brand and leave a memorable impression!

During the sign-on phase

Once a client has agreed that they want to work together, Dubsado comes into play again!

Specifically when it comes to sending over contracts for my clients to sign. You can create contract templates in Dubsado, then simply upload them to the client portal and send them- it will even automatically input any client details it’s received before. This makes the whole contract-sending process a whole load easier.

I then use Dubsado to send another questionnaire but this one relates to onboarding so I can collect additional key client information such as birthdays, contact information and any other relevant information (this will depend on the service they’ve signed up for!).

I then use the scheduler in Dubsado to book their first strategy session with me and with that, my clients are officially onboarded!

After the client has signed on

Once a client has been fully onboarded, I use Dubsado on a monthly basis to keep things running smoothly for myself, my team and my clients.

This is when automation and schedulers come into play.

You can automate emails and check-ins in Dubsado so I make sure to do that and schedule my monthly client strategy calls using Dubsado too.

You can also use Dubsado to send invoices as well if you want to. I personally don’t as I use my accounting software to do this- it’s just my personal preference!

Things to bare in mind

Although Dubsado has so many uses and can be great at streamlining your customer journey, there are a few things to consider if you plan to use it in your business!

First of all, I want to make it clear that I don’t only rely on Dubsado in my business. I use many other tools like ClickUp, Airtable and Metricool to name a few. I’ve also found that Dubsado works best when it’s set up strategically to work with other software.

Speaking of setting it up, Dubsado can be overwhelming when you first get it- purely because there is so much you can do with it!

Because of this, I’ve invested in a few people to help me get it up and running in a way that best serves my business. So if you’ve tried Dubsado before and need a little help getting it set up, I have some people that can help who I would happily recommend.
