The Magic Of Metricool: The Best Scheduling Platform For Marketers

This month Metricool is in the marketing tool spotlight!

If you haven’t heard of Metricool before, it’s an amazing (in my opinion) scheduling tool that I always recommend. The biggest reason for this is its ease of use and all of its features. They truly make planning and scheduling content a whole load easier.

And as someone who does a lot of scheduling as part of my business, this is a game-changing tool!

But before we get into why I love Metricool so much, let’s backtrack for a second and look at why it’s so important to schedule your content in the first place.

The importance of scheduling

Whether you’re a fellow marketer and are managing multiple client accounts or are running your own business, scheduling is something that is a crucial part of remaining consistent and engaged on social media!

When you schedule your content, you not only ensure that all of the amazing content you’ve created gets seen, but also that your back is covered if you need to take some time off from your business. Whether that’s to go on holiday or because you’re feeling under the weather.

And since scheduling content can play such a crucial part in maintaining your social media presence, having something that makes this process easier is an automatic plus in my book!

But why do I recommend Metricool over other scheduling platforms?

Because let’s face it, there are so many platforms out there that do very similar things, but here are my favourite features of Metricool (and why I recommend it over others)!

Easy Editing

One of the things I love the most about Metricol is how simple it is to edit your posts, even once you’ve scheduled them. All you have to do is go into the planning areas and from there you can edit the dates and times it’s scheduled to go out for and edit the content as well.

Brand Blueprints

A feature that makes Metricool even easier to use is that you can upload your brand directly to Metricool. This is super easy to do and it means you can control all of your platforms from one central place.

Terrific Templates

One of the best features of Metricool is that you can upload a piece of content as a template piece and then edit that template by the channel that it’s going out on. Making it super easy to change your content between each channel.

For example, you might have a link in a Facebook post but on Instagram, links in captions aren’t clickable so you customise that text to direct people to the link in your bio instead.

Prime Posting Times

Another handy little feature is that it gives you a rough idea of the best times for you to be posting. It grades each time of day by colour to give you guidance on when to post if you need it!

Pretty previews

If you’re allll about aesthetics, you’re going to love this feature!

When you schedule a post in metrical, you get to see what the post will look like once posted, but you’ll also get to see a preview of your feed so you can make sure the graphics match and line up how you want them to.

Helpful Hashtags

A nice extra feature Metricool has is that it suggests hashtags for you to use based on the content of your post. This is great for a bit of inspiration if you’re creating lots of content all in one go!

Perfect profiles

As a marketer, I not only have to manage my social channels, but all of my clients too and this is when metricool notably shines because you can add each set of profiles as a different brand. Meaning you can have all of your client's profiles in one central hub, making it much easier to manage!

Rapid Reports

Metricool has a reporting feature which can be pretty handy if you want to have a quick glance at your social stats.

Although it’s fairly basic and I always recommend going directly to the social media platform you’re using for analytics, this feature is really handy if you are just starting out or you don't have a lot of time, as you can easily see all of your stats in one place.

Comprehensive Calendars

Yet another feature I love (yes, the list goes on!), is the calendar view. You can look at the content you have going out by day, week or month- so you can view your calendar at certain periods of time and identify any gaps.

Easy Extras

The final feature I want to mention is that unlike on some scheduling platforms, with Metricool, you can tag other accounts and add locations to your scheduled posts which makes things even easier as you won't have to edit posts once they’re published.

If you’ve found this blog helpful and are a fellow marketer who wants more marketing advice to help make building your business feel as easy as a day at the beach, then you’re going to want to keep your eyes on The Marketing Beach Club.

Some very exciting things are happening on our brand-new Instagram page so you don’t miss a thing!

And trust me, you don’t want to miss this!
