Welcome to the new Sophie Angell Marketing Website!

Over the last few months, I’ve been working hard behind the scenes, including a shiny new website refresh.

I am so excited for it to finally be live, I’m sure you know what it’s like, to have the website updates on your to-do list for months on end.

It’s so easy to put the tasks in our business to the bottom of the list, but it’s so important to take the time to work on your own business.  Here are my takeaways from the revamp of Sophie Angell Marketing!

It’s essential to keep reevaluating

Anyone who runs a business knows that things can change pretty quickly.

This is why it is SO important to carve time out to reevaluate different elements in your business and make sure everything is still aligned. You don’t want your website saying one thing and your social saying something else!

However, it’s really important to revisit where your business is at least once a year (although, ideally, every quarter) to ensure everything is cohesive.

You want to make sure your branding/messaging is the same on your website as it is on your social media and that your social media matches your google profile and so on.

So, set those reminders in your calendar now, allocate the time to prioritise your business, and check-in with how things are performing and perhaps what needs tweaking!

New website = saving money

Before I built this website, I was using lead pages.

Now I’ve moved to Square Space and have combined all of those lead pages into one website.

There were two big reasons for this.

Number 1: It was way more cost-effective

Number 2: It was a better fit for my brand and what I wanted to do.

As it was more cost-effective, I’ve been able to spend the money I’ve saved on other things that are going to help improve the services I offer my clients.  For example, I’ve recently invested in Airtable and started using a new scheduling tool called Metricool. Both of which I’m loving so far!

Shiny new website for shiny new offers

One of the biggest reasons I created a new website was because I wanted to create a space to showcase all of my new and updated services in the best way possible!

I believe that places like your website and social media are the equivalent of a storefront- so you want to keep it cohesive and looking good!

‘So what are these new services?’ I hear you ask.

Well, allow me to introduce you to my Podcast Repurposing service and my Marketing Intensives!

My podcast repurposing service is here to make your life 10 times easier. Imagine if you could take your already recorded podcast and turn it into content for all of your social channels, emails, and blogs.

Well this is exactly what this service is designed to do (if you’re interested, you can find out more about how it works here!)

My Marketing intensives are here to help you level up your marketing game. And fast!

After having a call and me diving deep into your business to analyse your current activity and assess potential growth opportunities, you’ll receive your own, tailored and in-depth strategy document detailing the next steps you can take in your business!

We can customise this service to your exact needs so if you want to read more about it, click here!

I’ve also updated some of my original services like social media marketing, consultancy packages, and copywriting offers! So if you want to read all about them, just head to my services page!

Updated market research means it’s time for a change

When you run a business, market research is like the north star, you should always follow it!

Recently, I had been conducting some of my own, specifically focusing on how people prefer to get in touch with me.

There was no clear winner so I realised I needed a way to combine all of the ways in an easy and accessible way. No prizes if you guessed the best way to do this is a website!

My new website allows me to seamlessly integrate all of the different contact methods like directly messaging me, filling out a form or booking a call, without it being too overwhelming or clunky for my potential clients.

Thoughts to takeaway

The point of this blog is to naturally shout about my new website because I LOVE it and I really hope you do to, and also what else I learned along the way, as like people, businesses evolve and grow over time, so it’s really important to keep updating and improving whenever you can!

And if you think it's about time you took a moment to reevaluate where your business is at, and are interested in discovering  your marketing potential, then you know where you can find me!

Hint: It's my brand new website ;)
