Introducing The Marketing Beach Club

It’s no secret that prioritising connections and building up relationships with other people in your business (aka networking) really can be a really powerful way to expand your business.

In my experience, networking has been one of the most effective ways to get clients (this often happens through referrals) and even expand your business.

In fact, it’s because of networking, and a strong sense of collaboration over competition, that I’ve been able to start building a second business alongside Sophie Angell Marketing with my amazing friend, Vanisha.

Want to find out how collaboration can lead to more business opportunities for you? Let’s start at the beginning…

Collaboration over competition

Vanisha and I first connected via Instagram around 2 years ago and like any marketer who followed me, I didn't see her as competition.

Instead, I viewed her as someone who would totally get what I do and who would probably be a great person to have a conversation with as I knew she’d completely understand what it was like to be a marketer and be running your own business.

Soon enough we were having regular conversations about the marketing industry and what we enjoyed or found hard and naturally started helping each other out where we could!

We soon built up a genuine friendship where we would be Whatsapping regularly, sending each other encouraging voice notes if the other had an important meeting, helping each other out and providing advice if one of us was stuck!

It was the start of a really great friendship that made both of our businesses better!

Facilitating a network of community

After two years of friendship, being each other's biggest cheerleaders and right-hand women, we realised we could help facilitate others building similar relationships with other marketers!

And so The Marketing Beach Club was born!

The Marketing Beach Club is an open, honest and collective space for marketers to learn from and connect with each other and we are SO excited to get it up and running!

Our vision is for it to be a really supportive space where other marketers/freelancers can come with questions, for support or motivation and learn from our experience.

We aren’t gatekeeping over here!

Instead, we’ll be sharing our knowledge and officially becoming your biggest cheerleaders whose sole purpose is to cheer for your success (and help you achieve it!)

Because we both feel like this type of environment where people wholeheartedly support their peers is really lacking in the space.

As Vanisha and I run our own businesses, we’ve experienced first-hand how powerful it can be when you come together with someone. Whether that's to collaborators or coworkers, it can make such a huge impact in your business and that’s what we want to bring to you!

The future of The Marketing Beach Club

We are currently in the process of preparing a self-study course with 1:1 support so if that is of interest to you, then keep an eye out because some amazing things are coming!

But our free space will still be a great place where you can get support without having to spend, which is super handy if you’re just starting out!

Basically, we love what we do and want to help other people do the same. We want to help you set up a successful business whilst operating with freedom and living the lifestyle you want.

That is what The Marketing Beach Club is all about!
